Who We Are
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) provides instruction and spiritual direction to non-Catholics wishing to join the Catholic Church. The purpose of this ministry is to fulfill the Lord's mission command to make disciples of all nations. New Catholics bring the riches of their own traditions and previous experiences to enrich the church and build up the body of Christ.
What We Do
Under the guidance of the current Pastor, a series of lay leaders will coordinate a team of lay people. This entire team acts as one to carry out the instruction and spiritual formation of the ministry and those involved in it.
Members of the RCIA team may participate in any of a variety of responsibilities including:
- Instruction and preparation of initiation candidates
- Group liturgies
- Mentoring and spiritual formation
- Retreat day leadership
- And much more!
