As I am completing my sixteen years as your pastor and am moving on to the next phase of life in retirement, I wish to express my profound gratitude to all in the parish for your support, commitment to your faith and your love for this wonderful parish community. Not to exclude any names I thank the Stewardship Committee; the Catholic Women’s League; the Knights of Columbus; the St. Vincent de Paul Society; all of our liturgical ministries; all of the committees, volunteers and ministries that support our parish mission; to my former associates and Deacon Quinto Tami; the parish staff and school communities. It has been a privilege and a joy for me and all your support has enabled the parish to continue moving forward in a spirit of faith and loving service. May you continue to live out the goals of our parish mission statement.
I leave the parish in the capable hands of Father Ian Duffy who served as my associate at St. Joseph Parish Guelph from 2000-2002. I ask you to extend a warm welcome to him and to continue to build together by sharing your gifts of time, talent and treasure. May God bless you and I will see you around town.
