Special Celebrations
Children are invited to help celebrate the mass at various times throughout the year, including Christmas Eve Pageant and Easter Week.
Sunday Children’s Liturgy Program
From September to June, children ages 3 to grade 4 are invited to the hall during the 9am and 11am masses (after the first hymn, until the preparation of the gifts) for their own gospel lesson.
A staff of committed volunteers teach using the Pflaum Gospel Curriculum to offer age-appropriate learning based on the same readings heard upstairs. This team is always happy to grow!
Parish Schools
Within our Parish boundaries are located five schools, including Elementary levels through to High School. These schools are part of the Wellington Catholic District School Board. Our Pastoral Staff provide support to these schools throughout the year, including celebrating school masses, sacramental preparation, and more. Catechetical Correspondence Courses
Families whose children are enrolled in public or private schools, are homeschooled, or for other reasons unable to attend Catholic School may consider this enriching faith-development program.
These interactive parent-child programs are offered through the Diocese of Hamilton and cover every age and stage from Kindergarten through to high school, including programs specially designed to assist children preparing for the Sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation.
