We’re Open Starting June 11th – The Sacred Heart Triumphs Again
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Following the June 7th announcement from the Government of Ontario regarding the re-opening of the Province from lockdown restrictions and movement to Phase 1, I am very pleased to announce that the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate will open again for public worship starting on Friday, June 11, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Please note that the following Covid protocols are still in force, and we thank you for your continued cooperation:
- We are limited to 15% of our capacity, which is approximately 150 people in the Basilica at any given time
- Masks must be worn
- Social distancing must be observed
- Hand sanitizing is required
- Pews and kneelers are to be sanitized after use
Our regular schedule, which begins Sunday, June 13, is as follows:
Sunday:
Masses at 9:00am, 10:30am, and 12:00pm (until we return to full capacity)
Baptisms at 1:30pm (every Sunday until we clear our backlog, then first and third Sundays)
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday:
The Church opens at 8:00am with Mass at 9:00am
Wednesday:
The Church opens at 8:00am with Mass at 9:00am
Perpetual Help Devotions after Mass
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament all morning
Benediction at 12:00pm and Mass at 12:15pm
Saturday:
Mass at 9:00am (First Saturdays, Feasts and Solemnities Only)
Confessions at 4:00pm
Sunday Vigil Mass at 5:15pm
